About the HVAC Technician Program
The HVAC Technician Diploma Program at North American Trade Schools, offered at their London and Brampton campuses, is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for a career in the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) industry.

The program includes hands-on training in installation and maintenance of heating systems, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, along with learning about gas codes, regulations, and basic electrical theory. Students also have the opportunity to write their G3 and G2 Gas technician exams. This comprehensive program prepares students for roles such as HVAC Maintenance Technicians, Installers, and Service Technicians.

Career Outlook

The employment outlook for professionals in the HVAC industry is exceptionally positive, with significant projected growth leading to numerous new positions in the field. This optimistic trend is driven by several HVAC specific factors. First, there is a rising demand for energy efficient and environmentally sustainable HVAC systems, spurred by increased environmental awareness and regulatory standards. Additionally, the ongoing advancements in HVAC technology, such as smart climate control systems and integration with IoT (Internet of Things), are creating a need for skilled technicians who are proficient in these modern technologies. The growing construction industry, both residential and commercial, also continues to fuel the need for HVAC installation and maintenance services. The HVAC course instructors are licensed and experience professors approved by the TSSA (Technical and standards and safety authority) whom also have actual experience in the field.
